@LS1NIGHTMARO I get 30mpg highway. I paid nowhere near $40k new. Your LS1 running 12′s is definitely not stock, unless you are talking 1/8th mile. My buddy has one, and I see them at the track quite often. Where are you getting 300rwhp on a stock LS1? The Camaro forums? LOL. I guess I didn’t realize you weren’t mature enough to handle my comments… A lightly worked LS1 will NOT destroy my car. I’ve only been beaten by internally modded ones. Bash Dodge all you want, FWIW I used to own Camaros.

The factory claims HP at the crank… the drivetrain loses about 15% in parasitic loss. That puts the crank closer to 390HP, not the claimed 369HP.
LS1′s stock RWHP is about 260HP…. I have a 2010 R/T, and it’s MUCH faster than a stock SS Camaro. Low 13′s in the 1/4, mid 13′s stock. LS1 tastes yummy at the track.

Dumbass – Everyone knows you lose some HP to the wheels. A 30 HP loss from flywheel to wheel is totally normal. Yeah, I drive a Ford Fiesta – it’s badass. Dodge has always underrated their V8′s. There’s a video of the new 6.4 on the dyno and it is way underrated also. They could’ve easily said it produced 500hp. I still love my 6.1, real beast…
I think the dyno is a bit generous. I would be willing to bet it is closer to 320HP. Still a stout number for a car in the mid 30K.
I have an 09 charger and Yes the Newer models are not muscle cars they are GAY imitations
